installing digital download of the duchess pack

Hi Lads I thought I had solved the problem of downloading the duchess pack when I pressed f2 on the key board and changed the file name with.exe. The downloading went okay until the end when I got this message. Unable to execute file C:/program files (86) NV3 games TS12 Trainz exe. create process failed:code 740. The requested operation requires elevation. Does anybody know what this means and how to fix it.

Also I opened up trainz 2012 and went to surveyor to see if anything had installed and I found these items BR Duchess green and tender, LMS Duchess red post war and BR Duchess red pre war and tenders. Also coaching stock BR Stanier BTK-P BTK BTK-P-BLG, FK and CMS Plll stanier BTK, FK TO, is the pack all there , or is there items missing because of the problem above. Hope someone can help. Thank you.

That means that you didn't run the installer as administrator.

Hi Shane. Any advice on what to do now then, did I have all the content installed on surveyor or was some missing. I would be grateful for any help and advice you can give me. Thank you.

By the sounds of things, as long as you have the Duchess serial number added into the Trainz Options box and the game has done a database repair, you should be fine. Be aware though that if it has not installed properly there should be an uninstall option in the Trainz folder itself for the Duchess pack.

One note though - if you have the favourites feature turned on, the assets may not appear.

Sounds like you have everything installed.

The content you've listed is the full pack, and as such it does appear to be fully installed.

The message does appear to have been caused by something (quite possibly Windows itself) blocking the installer from running the Trainz.exe file (to force a database repair). I would recommend opening Content Manager, and then running a quick database repair.

Hi, I also have the duchess pack but, I only have one Stainer coach in BR Blue and no duchess in BR red. Any ideas?
