INSTALLING ADD-ONS ON STEAM

I purchased the Aerotrain add-on, and tried to install on my steam account, but I get a message that says it can't find TS2009,TS2010.
I have had Trains on steam since 2010 except it has been updated to TS2013 over time, HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!:'(

I may be mistaken but it sounds like you have RailSimulator. It did the automatic update to 2013. I do not have the steam version of trainz, but do not believe that id does not do auto updates to new versions.
If you do have RailSimulator the the Aerotrain odd on will not work.

The 'official' DLC pack's from our store (those found here ) are not able to be installed into Steam, due to the way in which Steam functions. Most of these packs are available via Steam, however some have not yet been released. At this time, the Steam edition of TS2010 is not compatible with the Aerotrain add-on pack, as it does not include the required update.

Please keep in mind that our DLC packs are not compatible with the 'Railworks' simulators, as these simulators are developed by another company.

Zec is correct. I have always advised users that if you are going to get a digital download version of TS2010, only buy it from N3V direct, as the other digital download versions cannot be patched (apart from the Just Trains version). I've been commenting on it for a while, but nothing has been done about it.

I bet Steam does alot to discourage customers that purchase Trainz with all the hoops they have to jump though just to get their version of Trainz to be up to date. I am so glad that I bought my TS12 from Auran. I wouldn't put anything connected with Steam on my PC.
