Trainz Addons for Blender 5.0, where can I find them?

So I've been following a couple of tutorials on YouTube on how to install Trainz add-ons into Blender, but when I followed them, I realized the add-ons I used were for Blender 2.79, which I can't seem to install, so I'm pretty much stuck with Blender 5.0. The issue here is that I don't know where to find the most updated export_trainz.py and TrainzMeshImporter.exe files and this is the reason why I can't enable the trainz add-ons in Blender 5.0 so does anyone know where I can find them?

The first thing to know is what version you want to export to, and whether you want an IM mesh or an FBX. For a non-PBR FBX, Blender and familiar materials are sufficient. If you want an IM for Blender 2.8 and later, there's Ryleyzzz's exporter (it replaces the old Uschi exporter used in 2.79). I haven't tested it in Blender 5.

I would recommend simply exporting in fbx, once in your asset's folder, Trainz will convert the mesh to .trainzmesh while submitting edits.

So you're saying if I create a model in Blender 5.0 and export it as an FBX file trainz will automatically except it?

The presets were broken for 4.5 but are now working again for 5.0. This was a bug affecting a number of addons.

I have several presets for Trainz exports. Mesh only, mesh with empties (attachments), and animation. The exporter "remembers" the last preset you used in the current session which is handy.

There is also a payware FBX exporter (Better FBX) that will stop some of the Trainz warnings because you can select the Autodesk FBX version. It's a bit expensive and the regular FBX exporter will do all you need.

Probably coming in a little late here but the answer is sort of. I use Blender 2.79 and export as FBX but you need to setup the export correctly to ensure this works using presets as mentioned above. The settings cover what is exported, the orientiation, scaling, etc

This tutorial details this out about the 10 minute mark. It is for 2.79 and assume the same for later versions
