Installation of Trainz 2009

I have installed this, but when I go to the main menu I have an error message saying rendering system failure, your computer is unable to communicate directly with trainz, can anybody help me I am using Vista

Try diffent Trainz display options like resolution and refresh rate. If an LCD display, choose 60hz.
You are using either DirectX or OpenGL. Try the other.
What is your video "card"?

You could try running TrainzDiag located in the TS2009\Bin folder and see what it tells you. It works like DxDiag but specifically for Trainz.

i downloaded the game and the same thing happened. if you installed it from the site i would unistall it and use mozilla firefox to reinstall it. it worked for me.

Problem with install Train 2009.

Excuse me for my english. I'm french.

I just downloaded this software, but I can not install it.

After entering the CD key (I juste suppose that it's the number in the e-mail...but it is not clear), it makes me: "Unfortunately, the code of your CD is wrong or installing trainz did not complete successfully. Please reinstall Trainz

What do I do?
I reinstalled several times, nothing makes.
