I've played trainz 2006 up until a few months back and I purchased trainz 2010. I was able to bring over my old routes and sessions, assets, with some tweaking of a bunch of the assets(Thanks PEVsoft tool makers!). One asset I've used to add complexity to some of my industries has been the handy little Industry link, which allows you to link outputs to inputs from any industry on your route. The asset still works as is in Trainz 2010, but if you go to tweak any settings or add in new links, everything goes fine until you select the product to pass back and forth to the other industry, it crashes Trainz.
With that being said, is anyone else familiar with this asset and have you been able to fix the script? I'm not afraid of coding, so that isn't an issue. Is there another equivalent asset in trainz 2010 that might allow linking of industry inputs/outputs that I could use instead? Maybe someone else has built something better? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
