My two,
My 1977 Genuine 6cyl LX SL/R Holden Torana.
& my 1986 Suzuki GSX-R 1100, I affectionately call her the Instigator,
The World's first Superbike.
It's this bikes fault, It raised the bar & set the standard that we have Today.
This is my mates Peter Brock(RIP) replica 1973 LJ V8 Holden GTR-XU1 that I'm hoping to get my hands on. (One Day)
He built it before he (Brock) tragically died doing what he loved.
It's on the road since the photo. Drives sweet.

I used to own an Armstrong Siddeley "Whitley", a beautiful car for it's day.
Currently I drive a 1989 Rover 213 SE, the one with a Honda engine.
Almost twenty years old, and only 53,000 genuine miles.

Yeah the "Black Mutha" sure is fun, it keeps me real, that's for sure.
I have always liked Val's & Chrysler, they have some trick new models out like the 300c.
My mate has an old 1971 Chrysler by Chrysler 440 big block that turns heads everywhere it goes.

Luckily it is now stored in our garage, so is undercover (as it has been since my dad go it, about 20 years ago IIRC). But, it will probably stay this way for a long time

I first saw that pic when a member of a Diecast Forum posted it about a year ago. I love old British cars, particularly Armstrong Siddeleys and Lee Francis.

That pic was taken just before he bought it IIRC.
I think he said it's got chassis #7 (or around that number anyway), and a low number body IIRC.
If/when we start work restoring it, I'll send an email to you...
I don't even know how much work would be required anymore, it's basically 'buried' in the garage (covered in boxes, and that sort of this, to protect it from any further damage when we go to get stuff outta the garage).

Sorry, the word "Superbike" was coined in 1969 to describe a 120mph four cylinder sport bike with front disc brakes; the Honda CB750.
The Gixxers did a lot to popularize Race replicas, though. I just hope they're easier to maintain than my Burgman.

sorry about that, you are 100% correct,
I should have said "Modern" Superbike.
It sure does look a bit hard to get at the Engine of yours.
Mine is not too bad to maintain,
but there is still a lot of screws to get the off the fairings.

Ok Then, finally got the camera working.
This is my Company Ride.
Since the winter finally is history, I Just changed Tires and rims, so now its ready for a loong and hot summer.
As you can see, its a few inches lower than the original.
Thats because she's So full of tools. (weight is about 3.2 Tons, fully loaded)
I tried to get both Strobes in the picture, but the damn thing's just wont align:hehe:

When I was a young fella I owned a 37 Chevy delux and a 38 delux they are cool and did the job well,sold them for a few dollars down the track and cant complain what I got for them.
You dont see the likes of them anymore beaut cars and very comfy in the back seat to.
I then bought a 56 FJ Holden did it up kept it for four years ten sold it for a packet.
Those were real cars and I still long for those days but only dream about them now a days.:udrool: :mop:

My old girl
My ride is a 1993 Toyota Corolla hatch - 5 speed 2 ltr - twin cam seca - its the 5 door Celica - owned since new - just had its 300,000 km service so it just about run in now. Never not got me home.
I now its getting on in years but have no reason to trade the old girl in still runs as good as the day I got it, got a few battle scars, its had 2 learner drives behind the wheel.
Taken out 2 kangroos as well as other assorted wild life, carried two diffrent traction layouts round the country, been the pack horse for the odd TotR event.
Carried me and my Kayak into places that even 80 series land crusies fear to tread.
Oh my other ride was a Yamaha RD250LC 1984 that was until I was told it was not a bike an "old fart" should be riding and was stolen by my nephew, waiting on the money gods to find me the cash for nice trumpy trophy 900.
Oh my work car is a boring old ford falcon that is under 2 years old but has its own NRMA van just to keep the junker on the road
