It's slow, but I could literally drive the thing across the country without getting tired. It's amazingly relaxing. And it's just NEARLY as large as Gandalf's....uh....thing there(is it really a vehicle?!?!?).

Yup, I'm sortof into mining stuff so I know how draglines work.

Look up Big Brutus here, I've been there and it's quite fascinating.

Darnit, Gandalf, you beat me to it! :p

Back on-topic...

I oughta get a pic of my little MT19-A speeder on here...of course, even if it was completed, I still couldn't drive it until I was 18 because of insurance reasons! :o :(

Hi,
...We moved to French cars after that and they are brilliant, owned them for 11 years now...Angela
Having dealt with French cars, I'm astonished that there's something worse. Your entire nation has my sympathies.
We had the Pinto and the Chevette, after which the American car companies bought small cars from Japan. We can't build sensible cars here, either.

My daily transport.

Although it is very rarely as clean as that.

Mike.

Other than the wing logo, I don't recognize this. Would you like to tell us what it is and brag a little? It looks pretty cool, especially for those of us who can't get the company or our parents to buy our gas for us.;)

http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/...hidHomePath=/jsp/msgTOURINGHome.jsp#focusHere

700cc (plenty enough to travel at illegal speeds - apparently ;)), shaft drive (no messy, oily chains), ABS, enough storage space for everything I need at work or for a weekend away, a nice big screen and fairing to hide behind when it is raining cats and dogs. Plus 65mpg as well, so a 200 mile range to get three trips to work in before needing to fill it up again, helps given the price of fuel these days. Not the world's most exciting bike, but absolutely perfect for what I use it for.

I've also fitted mine with a camera system;
I have a camera fitted under the headlamp which records to a video camera unit in the pannier at the rear.

I'm saving up for the Sat-Nav system now ;)

Mike.

2003 Suzuki Burgman 400. It's not yellow yet, but I'm working on restoring some body damage, so new paint is on my list of chores. Visibility is my life.

 Claude
Update: The rear fairing is reattached and the paint touched up slightly, so now it looks like this.

You can see it from farther away now, and the body doesn't rattle as much as before.

In rea l life, I drive:

A Jaguar XJ, both 1995-1997 models.

One's my actual car, the second is for spare parts to restore the first.
