well over the years i have had a few, mostly light trucks with small engines, and a couple of two wheelers, three or four if you count human powered bycicles, i currently own and drive absolutely none. just my feet and whatever public transportation is available.
i've generally found them to be a pain in the backside, although it is nice to be able to go places and times there all too unfortunately often isn't any other way, other then VERY long walking of going. when the're running well and not costing an arm and a leg to keep them doing so.
i really believe i get a lot more 'milage' and certainly a LOT more 'smilage' i.e. gratification, out of the internet, (which i would most likely not have very well afforded both) then i ever have out of owning any of them.
