This is why I love visiting small lesser known museums. You don't get the jerk know-it-alls and foamers who come and ruin your visit with their obsessent chatter about train this and train that. You can take your time to enjoy the experience and not have to be constantly told "your ruining the shot", or "your footsteps are too loud, your ruining my developing attachment with the engine". (I'm serious one guy actually yelled at me for that) It's even worse when the museum has a rare piece of equipment or even worse, has an operating steam locomotive. The Lake Superior Rail Museum is nearly done restoring D&NE 28, and I can only image how packed the museum will be at the end of June when the inaugural run takes place. I usually visit the museum at the end of June, but I feel like I'll have to postpone my trip to a later date this year due to all the crazy foamers and railfans that go absolutely bananas over the sight of a steam engine.
