Can nobody see the smiley I posted on post 338 ? .... or is it just a case that people don't know what smilies are ?

Usually I wouldn't mind at all if something isn't marked obviously as humor, I rather like it that way. I don't think that I'm that unhumorous. But if it comes to accusations I don't like misunderstandings.
And again, a "cool" smiley is not really helpful in that case... a "wink" smiley would have made things clear.

For many arduously long forlorn months, I have struggled to continue ignoring this post. Even in the process ignoring all~things~Trainz, in the hope of some semblance of rehabilitation from this dreaded disease; "Addictus Postus Ignorance Impossibilence".
However, after yesterday finally re-connecting with the revered Trainz forumz, low & behold, this morrow, there's an email awaiting my gaze & weakening willpower.
Alas!! Once more I have failed ignorantly; in my feeble attempts of fighting off the hugely strong temptation to at the very least 'have a look' at this post.
Too late!!!!, to late. A gone-er again. sniff.

Thank you jayholland for the timely seasonal post.
As the post once posted:- "Ignorance is bliss; for a post"
He also was heard bemoaning his prior life as a Whipping Post; how the outlook each day was dismal & foreboding.
How oft~times the Whipper would miss the Whippee, & lash into his splintering sides.
And the constantly~refilled pool of blood made his foot all wringled, smelly & squishy.
But the dogs loved him. In fact, mostly, only the stray dogs loved him!.
Amongst his aquaintances were the Chief Whip (who used to fail at achieving 'order' in pall-ia-mint), and would then take out her frustrations
on poor Myste; the Post (when he was a whipping post; a post he wished he'd never been promoted to!).
Then there was the bright young thing with the Secateurs, who when not working at the nearby salon, or saloon
(she held down two jobs. They of course screamed their heads off, but being quite a wrestler, she never took her feet off their grubby necks. Yes she was known for her grubby feet).
The Secateurs?, oh yeah. She was the local official Whipper~Snipper. Soooo, whenever the Chief Whip (or one of the up-and-coming sub-whips) got a bit carried away, she'd whip a bit off the end of their whip.
Well as you can see, my months of ignoring this & other posts has lead me to a state of boredom. Currently I find many poor souls here; trying to escape from several Australian states, & even terror-ities.
So with no further adoo, I would bid you adoo, but as I said; there's none left!. So instead, Season's Greetings, may you & yours be & remain safe & in good health. And I will sneakily sneak away; with stealth.

I have posted this post to the outermost parts of Siberia, in the hopes that somewhere, way out there, there are similarly~ignored posts, all shivvering in despare & utter alone-ness.
Why?, you may (or may not) ask?.
Well, as after 24 pages of being utterly ignored in almost all imaginable (& unimagineable) ways, it appears to have survived!.
YES!!, our pole is a proven survivor!.
Having battled over the ages through derrogitorious blasphemy, inept suggestions/comment, many turned backs (& even turn-coates!), humour~at~it's~Visa-card (expense), lack of understanding, & mostly utterly ignored; time~&~thyme almost-uncountable times (including whe unrecorded times), it has come through, scathed, unrecogniseable. Yes, accused of having been replaced by 'other' replacement 'new' poles; ala that comic bloke with the skull cave & ring.
We may never know from whence it came, but whence it did. And so, once more I have chosen to ignore this pole, until at least next year.
Perhaps this poor pole in some way can rub up against other like-poles; banished to Siberia's outermost parts, & start a spark. A spark of desperate re-ignition!. At least it will be somewhat closer to cousin North.
