i'd like to apologize for a few comments i have made here in the past week per sp1 and the hot fix . yes i was mad .....really mad. at no one ! but me! after "digging" around the 2tb back up drive i found a close enough date to use the ts12 folder ,after reading and reading the post's from venders on forum members all payware and free ware content as well as built in is faultless except my jvc sky pack it has the thumbnail issue and no i don't know how to fix that . i can wait for jan's fix.
so to N3V AND ALL OTHER VENDERS AND PARTNERS /CREATORS I stand corrected . it actually runs faster/better now than it did before .

I do apologize

I do apologize

While I am not one of those listed, I do appreciate it when some-one who has posted in "anger" is able to come back and apologize as well as admit to making a mistake. It happens so few times in these forums.

I take my hat off to you sir.

So nice to see someone MAN UP! Maybe if more people would do that in their everyday lives, people would be nicer to others and we would ALL be happier!

I accept your apology, although I don't contribute much content. :)

Fixing the thumbnails is pretty easy. JVC missed putting the .jpg into the folder with the asset when he uploaded it. It's already referenced and you can see this in Content Manager when you view the errors and warnings. The fix is pretty simple which will allow you to continue to use the asset until he fixes them permanently.

Create a thumbnail jpg image of 240 x 180 pixels. Save it to as same name that is missing from the assets.

Go into Content Manager.

Open the first asset for editing in Explorer CTRL+SHIFT+E (or choose from the menu).

A Windows Explorer window will open up showing the config.txt file and all the other stuff.

Copy your thumbnail jpg - the one you created - into the asset's folder.

Close the folder.

Right-click on the asset in Content Manager and choose View Errors and Warnings. You might see some warnings, but ignore them.

If it's all set, commit the asset - by highlighting it and pressing CTRL+M

Repeat this process for the remaining ones that need a fix.

You're a good man Ken, I guess it's also safe to assume you're married too... That's where I learned how to apologize.... ;)

I know that it's not easy to apologise for anything, but a true Trainz member usually knows when to do so (as you have done).

I'm guessing that my thread may have helped in that.

Shane

P.S. Either way, I applaud you in doing so.
