I realty need to know how to un_obsleate a asset

BEN DORSEY has made a mistake. Not that anyone should blame him, he makes so many many things for us, but he will need to sort it out.

FWIW, I just checked, and while I don't have this asset downloaded, I do indeed see that:

Ratcliff_Crew_Hoist,<kuid2:210518:8468:2>
Storage_Tank_24,<kuid2:210518:8468:1>

(depending on what it does, there is an outside chance that the uploadbot swapped KUIDs or something but even if that did happen, I think Ben will have to reissue the 8468:1 version as a 8468:3 version to sort this out.

The crew hoist should be 8568. If you can't correct it yourself I can upload a corrected version but it would have to be 2009 version since the original was for 2004 (I think).

Be advised that the way the KUID2 replacement system works (when it DOES work!) is to;
1. Obsolete the previous version on the DLS, so it no longer displays as a downloadable asset.
2. Post the newly uploaded KUID2.
3. Update the content manager database to show the new KUID2 replacement as a downloadable asset.

The process in ordinary times can take 48-96 hours, during that period you'll get all kinds of weird effects like content manager insisting the original is obsolete and the replacement is unknown location. These are not ordinary times, with the recent upload jam it will probably take longer than usual for the KUID2 situation to sort itself out. I would suggest waiting a week before doing anything at all, see if it fixes itself.

Clone the ROUTE. Now the route will exist under YOUR kuid on your system. Update the item and let it overwrite the old version of the route.

The upgrade is not on the DLS...NO it isn't!

I need to get around the CMs KUID check.

I have just noticed this post and xcrossi sent me a PM about it. I am afraid xcrossi has the numbers mixed up The layout kuid is 243294 22479 3
and the missing bogey for the Baldwin modern 4-4-0 is 243294 100479 1 the bogey is still held up in Aurans checking system it was uploaded about the 19th or 20th of November and is still in the unprocessed area. Trains kuids need to be looked at carefully some may look the same at first glance but the system would not allow you to make two different items with the same kuid number.

I only cloned the drive bogey because it required a 'direct-drive 1' tag to make the sound work.
