Hp-Tainz Marias Pass X - Heavy Haul over Marias session broken?

I recently installed the updated Marias Pass X updated called "MRPX45" and am trying the Heavy Haul over Marias session. I started the session ok by re-fueling, re-sanding, driving to the end of the yard, waiting for the train to arrive, and connecting my engine to the train and saving at the first save point. I then proceed along the route until just past Wayne's lumber where there is a double red signal where I stop. A little further along the track in Columbia Falls is a train with no driver just sitting there. I am not able to proceed since the reason I have a red signal is because the switches are set to take me onto the same track as the driverless train mentioned above. And of course the switches are controlled by the AI and I am unable to change them. I have retried the route 4 times now and end up stuck at the double red signal (Sig CF West-1). Can anyone help? Past attempts to contact HP-Trainz have been unsuccessful with zero responses.

I'll have to check that session myself, but you can in fact take control of an AI train even with no driver. Simply click on that train and become the driver. You could then issue a stop train command and then set the points to your route.

If i remember correctly, there should be a train that "spawns" from an Un-Portal when you get to Columbia Falls. Give me some time and i'll check.

Another thing to check is to see if you have a driver in CM, open for edit, that needs to be committed.

I am discouraging to do something like that. You will probably mess up the session.

This is correct. When you reach the signal (double red) in Columbia Falls, a train with driver Jan will come from unportal. Once the train passes, your signal will change to red-flashing yellow. The session isn't broken. I can only imagine you stopped too far from signal.

Another thing to check is to see if you have a driver in CM, open for edit, that needs to be committed.

Yes, this could be also a reason for the problem.

Since the train is portal-spawned and driverless, check if you have the proper driver (Jan) installed or (if Jan is installed) that it is not in "open for edit" state.

Checked the session, and Jan spawned correctly for me. Must be a problem with one of the assets involved, as stated previously.

Now I am stopped at a red in Belton. No trains seem to be approaching based on the map. When I click on the red signal its says no trains approaching. Is this another bug or do I wait or run the red?

I'm also getting a problem, but in Whitefish: I filled the sand and refueled the engine, but the dispatcher still won't guide me to the correct track. I think that was in 4.2 though, so I'll have to check if it works in 4.5 later.

The train is approaching from behind. It is the Amtrak which will overtake in Belton. It takes some minutes to wait.

Thanks Josef - what you said is true. I waited until an Amtrak train came and passed me and then I could proceed. I got as far as Stanton Creek until my next issue - I saw a "driverless" coal train there, which I passed as I approached a red signal. I then noticed a script error icon and clicked on it and it said that "Bald" could not be found. I looked in Content Manager and it shows Bald version 10 is installed. I tried downloading Bald version 11 but it said it was already installed, however when I list all installed drivers I only see Bald version 10. And it shows as obsolete. Any ideas of what went wrong? I assume Bald should have been driving the coal train?

I also have problems with Heavy Haul over Marias but I hadn't seen this thread put my posts in the payware thread relating to this route. Maybe the moderator will shift them both to this thread please?
