how to uninstall trs 19

I use Revo Uninstaller (free version) it uninstalls the program (whatever it is) and then searches the registry and the HDD/SSD for left over files and folders and allows you to delete them if you wish.

I guess I am lucky, SP2 for me (platinum) is working fine so far, but then I am only route building.
It has been working mostly fine for me. As I make content in the way of reskins and models quite a few of them became bugged or broken in sp2. I was able to get them all working so that was fixed. As with your assessment it broke little for me, yet, I have many friends that have encountered a more serious problem with it. Very situational on who is going to be affected and who isn't. Almost like the game rolls dice to decide if you will get off problem free or not

Ah, I have had that too. The reskin was working fine, added some paint and submitted...BROKEN! I think rebuilding the DB fixed the problems though if I remember correctly. I remember one loco I updated all the assets for it to 4.0+ and changed the build number to 3.7 and TRS19 did not like that one bit, had to change it back to 2.9 even though the assets for the loco were "newish".

It really should be put up in big block letters somewhere that before accepting any patch or 'upgrade' for TS2019/TSR19 that it's essential to back up your TS2019 install including all the hidden data files. There's no roll back to an earlier version with TS2019/TSR19 SP2 so if all your precious legacy routes and assets that you sweated blood into for years get busted you are up the creek without a paddle.

This is one time that being paranoid will pay off. Back up, back up and back up again.

I've had to uninstall 2019 in the past. In windows go to control panel at remove it. Then I go into my program files and delete any folder regarding Auran, N3VGames, Trainz. I have a box set so I reinstall from the discs as well as any updates required. In your my trains account you should have a digital copy. Use the online installer to install. Both way's have worked for me in the past.

I back up my data folder using 7zip and solid setting, it compresses the zip to about 50% of original size. Once I add enough new content I back it up.
