how to uninstall trs 19

i have ask this but never received a answer. i want to uninstall trs 19. since sp2 i haven't been able to use the game at all. now i don't have any routes i built or consist or anything with my trainz number.
i have gone back to trs 12 but have problems with the safe train signal rule. it calling for the 19 revision but will not download said rule.
i can only hope one day n3v will care about their customers and car enough to make a game that works. trs 19 seems to be alright but with the sp2 they killed it , at least for me.
i apologize for being rude but enough is enough. some of these routes go back to 2004 and i really hate losing them

If you don't like it, just stop running the program.
If you truly want to wipe it off your computer:

Note the location of the build folder in settings. Delete it.
Note the location of the folder that you start Trainz from. Delete it.

You will lose all your work and downloads in that build.

If you don't have an install capability for the version you delete, you cannot get it back.

EJB don't give up on TRS19 yet, SP2 will be fixed eventually
and if you have questions to get it working, plenty people here that can help
if you have questions, try to be detailed.


TS12 is an entire separate game (don't have it here), it should work not needing anything from TRS19
so don't put newer items in the game

You should be able to reinstall TRS19 and patch to SP1 (I think), if that is what you are really after?
 
i have tried to uninstall trainz with the uninstall folder. doesn't work. i'm going to walk away from the whole thing for the present. i really don't need the aggravation

i managed to uninstall the 2019. now the serial number won't work for the new install. what's next? i have been with trainz since 1009 and can remember when the game was fun. what happened uninstalled since i lost everything i have been working on since 2004 and also lost all my payware (i have backup). i just want to turn the game on and use the program.

What are you trying to install?
If you don't like TRS19, just run TANE {on your timeline).

i liked trs19 just fine until the sp2. since installing the sp2 i haven't been able to run trains at all. all the routes or anything that i have created with my number doesn't show up in content manager. that is why i uninstalled the program,
now i can't install because it will not accept the serial number. i just don't understand why this has to be so complicated.

I installed TRS19 from their website. No serial number necessary. Perhaps you have Steam?
 
The reason your assets don't show is you have not re-entered your username and password in the settings. Trainz can not check with N3V that your installed version is a legal copy. Don't use an old installer, go to your My Trainz page and product downloads and redownload the program from there. A new installer will download the SP2 version. If you still have your build folder from the previous set up redirect the install path to it once installed.
 
A fresh install of TRS19 even from an older installer now only offers to patch direct to SP2, no option for SP1.

Unfortunately, yes. I was hoping one could start with installing "SP0", but that is not to be. Odd, N3V surely has that on their servers somewhere.
 
sp2 is the reason i'm in the quandary i'm in. even though a few quirks in sp1 i still could manage a good long session. i'm retired and this and formula 1 models is about all i do . well a few the things but still i miss the trs 19

Why don't you just try a fresh install? Something obviously went wrong or you are not understanding something. Your initial post says "I don't have any routes." - Did you install them from the in game Content Store? If you didn't install them the only Route you will have is Kickstarter 2. The clearer you explain the issue, the more chance there is of getting help. I just did another fresh install (I have 3 now) and everything went as expected and game works as expected as does the other 2.
 
I have to agree with EJB here, I use TRS19 for route building and I have always enjoyed to do this in my spare time. But since SP2 route building has become more of an irritation. I consider route building a relaxation, not something that annoys me. The track/spline updating problem is a huge thing for me. I am not hoping for a quick fix any time soon so I have cancelled my Trainz+ subscription until it is fixed. What surprises me is that many people have complained about in this forum, and I know at least one has sent a bug report but N3V never addressed this here in the forum ( as far as I know ) to let us know it is worked on.
 
I use Revo Uninstaller (free version) it uninstalls the program (whatever it is) and then searches the registry and the HDD/SSD for left over files and folders and allows you to delete them if you wish.

I guess I am lucky, SP2 for me (platinum) is working fine so far, but then I am only route building.
