Hi,
I need some help which I will explain now:

In TRS 2006 I made a consist in this form:
4x UP DD40X + 100x freightliner container flat + 4x UP DD40X + 100x if refrigerated van + 4x UP DD40X + 100x 60ft boxcar + 4x UP DD40X + 100x oil tanker UTLX 60FT + 4x UP DD40X + 100x SJ habbins941v + 4x UP DD40X

Because it is very large consist out of 500 vagons and 24 locos, the frames drops when I work on it.. Actually I don't need a train to drive, but I need only a model or visual object.
Can sameone please help me how to create a scenary object or something of this train so I can use it only as visual object on map, without phisics and all. I have very low knowledge about TCCP so if someone can help me I would be very gratefull

Thanks

Step one use TS22 to get the most out of your hardware.

Step two use scenery wagons and locos, they sit on the track by the way. kuid2:86627:100267:1 is an example. Note build 4.6 allows meshtable scenery objects. Look for category track object and try scenery in the search box.

Step three using the source of the wagons, not the in game version. Then add in the bogey's source and export it all into trainz set up as a trackside scenery object.

Realistically if you can't get at the sources minimise the different kuids, ie repeat the wagons as much as possible.

It's possible to convert the wagons to trackside scenery objects by cloning then using the existing meshes and editing the config.txt file but you'll need to convert the bogies as well then position them under the wagons. Not terribly easy to do.

Have fun

The first simple step is to make sure you're using content that is computer friendly. Look at each asset in the consist and right click in content manager. Preview asset. Look at two basic things, the first is the poly count the higher the polycount the harder your computer has to work and the second is to check if it has LOD. Change the viewing distance to 10,000. If the poly count stays the same it doesn't have LOD and my advice would be to not use it.

The other thing is newer content tends to be less computer demanding. Look for content of 4.6 or later. Basic TANE is $10, TS19 $20, TS22 $30 but the PE editions are nice.

Hi there,

My solution was rather easy. I turned my RENFE 333 inert by means of a small script. They can be placed on a track for would-be scrap or placed on a invisible track just in the middle of nowhere. They remain dead inert until a loco couples them for shunting or sending them to final scrappy destination. :D They aresome kind of mixed scenery/train.

Check my example (use Google translation if you need):

(Side note: Of course, ask for permission to modify the original assets if your intentions are rather different than just for your own enjoyment  )

The scrappy side of Alberte. :D
