How to go from TS22 build 126273 to build 128487?

I've been trying to work on a route using two computers. One runs Windows 11 and the other is still Windows 10. My problem is that the Win10 TS22 build is lower than the one I installed fresh using a download.

There doesn't appear to be any patches available for 126273 on either the TS22 or TS22Beta streams. All I get is "nothing there." Is this something I have to download separately? If so, where?

You may have the retail version which won't upgrade yet. Only the Plus version.
TRS22 =128487
TRS22 PE = 126273

From what I read Here you should be able to go from 126273 (Retail TRS22 SP4 Windows) to 128487 (Retail TRS22 SP5 Windows). Maybe go into My Trainz/My Digital Downloads and get the full installer (14GB) and try from that with a fresh install. If lucky, install might even be "packaged" 128487/SP5 itself.

If all else fails, that's what I'll do. Right now, I can work within the constrictions. I managed to install the Windows 11 (128487) and then copy/paste the required folders to that machine from my older version. Thus I effectively duplicated the entire database--then set the pointers to it. I'd hate to have to do it yet again. I hope the patch comes out soon.

You should be able to upgrade even if you copied the folder over to your Windows 10 machine. Check the update stream and make sure that it's pointing to TRS22 and not something else such as TRS22 Beta.

Tried it both ways. No dice on either stream.

You'll need to copy over the program from your Windows 11 machine or download the 12 GB install package from My Trainz. It's possible that because your version is a couple of versions behind that there's no update for it. I've gotten snagged by that situation myself a couple of times.

I'm more than one version behind? How is it that the builds are 5.4 and 5.5?

I may end up just giving up and re-downloading the install package that I did for my Win11 machine, bit the bullet, and move my db files to the new installation. I've done it before put it is a pain.

Well, this is interesting. I tried deleting my username/PW from MyTrainz at the patch interface level. Then I re-entered them and the patch came up of the "normal stream. Now I am currently downloading the humongous patch at 22 MB/sec. I seem to remember having to do that several times before for various iterations of this game (like TANE).

That is interesting. It might've been faster to do a freshly minted installer download than patching.

Actually, the patching only took about 30 minutes - even with the download of some 32GB. I have a Gigabit ISP using fiber optic lines.

Just worked for me after the big database repair then wanted another patch to 128152 and back to the database repair yet again
still going now to 128230 it was very short update
