How do i merge two routes?

I have decided to download alot of pre-elevated terrain off of the DLS because it is easier than making each individual mountain, and I am to poor to buy trans DEM. I was just wondering how do I merge routes together?

ummm...let me give that a little thought. Today hasn't been a good day, and i might've given my glasses a crack when i whacked them with a yo-yo...

Maybe you could use portals, or make the whole route.

Yes, portals are one solution... but not the answer I am looking for unfourtunatly. I want to nit the sections together. Let me try to explain this better:

I have downloaded any of fishlipsatwork's terrain boards off of the DLS that would work for my route, which is set in the Appalachians. Now, these are just the terrain, nothing else. What I would like to do is to nit several of these preset terrain "routes" together to form a larger, area to work on. I am doing this because terrain is one of my weak points, right next to towns. I jsut don't have the patience or artistic ability to make very good mountains.

That helps explain merging. Most difficult was the mering of two partially overlaping DEM's from Fishlipsatwork & DCFox's - Horseshoe Curve that I am working on. As the overlapping baseboards had to be deleted on one DEM.
