How can i load freight in wagons

Visible loads require an attachment point and a product queue in the config.txt file, otherwise its just add or amend a product queue in the config.txt file.

Im as lost as the original poster.
As i understand, you can't have trackside features like a logging factory, end of story. You need to edit config files to have resources loaded on trains and offloaded at another point?

Hi,

First of all, which version of Trainz do you use? the detailed answer to your question changes depending on your version of Trainz - doefiately not a "trick" question.

If you are using TRS 2004 upwards, there should be several tutorial scenarios - "Highland Valley industry" is one (IIRC)?
Try this tutorial, and you should see the wagons being loaded and unloaded at the correct industry.
If you open the route/session in Surveyor, find the industry, then open the buildings tab & use the "?" (property) button, you'll learn how the industry is set up.

John's comment is related to your question - but is specifically answering the question of oputting a load into a wagon - as a creator.

You will need to use Industry enabled wagons/cariages etc - if the rolling stock isn't created to show a load, then it never will - regardless of the industry.

Are you asking how to use the existing industries and wagons, or how to create or convert new ones?

If you're a relative beginner and are asking the first question, then keep to industries and wagons with the IND green tick especially at first. Most industries have separate areas for loading and unloading different products. Sometimes these are on separate tracks, sometimes you'll find two on the same track. With some products you need to stop the train and the wagons over the load point will be loaded or unloaded. With other products you need to drive slowly through the load point. There's a very useful flowchart in the manual which tells you which products each of the built-in industries creates and accepts. Hope this helps,

John

Pev has a new tool that allows non creators to add attachment points and thus visible loads but you need to know how to use it.
