How can I create grade xing w wide space

Hi;
I am trying to create a grade crossing where 3 tracks cross, but one track is separated from the other two by more than the normal spacing.
I need automatic protection for the crossing (USA).
Should I just use a 4-track crossing, and make the extra track invisible, or can I get just the crossing equipment (lights with gates) without the roads or tracks?

Thanks

FW

Isn't there a set of crossings like that on the DLS? I just did a search and found some offset crossings by Stryker (69937:100411) and Psycho aussie (1551:100311) so there might be more. Try putting 1+2 in the search box and see what pops up.

Maybe, but I need US crossings. I've got the 4-track working fine for 3 tracks. I had to re-align the 3rd track a bit at one crossing, but at the second, it was fine.

Look at BNSF50 username on DLS.
He has dozens of great crossings.
Also I think you could look for Grade crossing for a search word description.
Good luck.

Thanks. That seems like the easiest option. I guess without attached track, a crossing would not be automated.

You could also hook up the atls system to the crossing if you don't want the tracks connected due to the track spacing. Or you could use the NRC crossings with atls setup, if you don't want the tracks or road connected.

how can i remove side lights on the grade xing

I made most of my crossings with and without the side lights but if you find one that's not you can remove them by opening it in cmp and find the front side light tag or back side light and click on the Auto Create check mark. The side lights, lights and all will be gone.

PS. By the way I grew up in York, Neb.
