How about an updated Polar Express Route?

Hey...again. Yes, finally I got my serial number in and my trainz thing...up. I'm working on a polar express route for upload on my website before christmas 2016. I'd 1.) like to know if anyone has anywhere I can find more snow textures, tunnels and animals...and possibly people...and 2.) if anyone else id working on the same thing.

Well I guess people didn't read the header. As far as snow textures go, I like Storksnest snow textures. You can find them on the DLS or here. http://trainzproroutes.org/tprdownloads/
As far as seasonal objects goes, I don't know what there is out there for 2010, but dinorius_redundicus has snow piles on the dls that can be raised and rotated to place on top of roofs and any other place your imagination can figure. Hope I helped

Regarding the Polar Express freeware on K&L Trainz, you also need to buy the 'Pere Marquette N-1 Berkshire', as the Polar Express freeware does not include the locomotive, only the tender. It's only $10.00, has a lot of extra features, and is a great steamer. I also recommend taking a look at the other stuff on their site, as they've got a wide variety of steamers from across the country and Canada.

EDIT:
They also make promo videos whenever they release something new. Here's their YouTube page, which they place all their promo videos on also.

Well, I already have a couple Berkshires from Colorado71...i have the polar express consist from K&L. It's really good. I'm just looking for some more textures, trees, and buildings...for my route. Thanks for the suggestions for the PM though. I'll look into it.

Not to be rude, Matt, Jordon, and H222...he wasn't asking for trains. He was asking for route-building supplies.

Farrigut, textures starting with "SNC" on the DLS are pretty nice, might wanna try those. In terms of tunnels, the "Indigo Tunnel" available off www.trainzforge.weebly.com is really good.

Oh, I have the Indigo tunnel. I've used 3 on the route already. I'm looking for more of an icy-textured tunnel....and maybe some smaller signs. I wanted to put a small sign with the numbers 1225 on it on a hill, just above a tunnel, so.....yeah.

There's some tunnels on the DLS that have 'Swiss' in the name. They've got some snow on them and have been included in previous editions of Trainz.

You are not showing us anything to base our vote on.
So my question to you is:
What are you trying to achieve?

What do you mean? It's just a simple question in my opinion. I don't mean anything bad towards you. I just wanted to see if anyone was interested in the idea of having that movie route around, or if I should scrap it. The route is on my website which should be accessible through my profile. I don't want to take anything off without having everyone's opinions. It honestly takes a lot of work to keep going and I need to know if I'm doing a fine job or if I'm doing unneccessary work.

If you're building a route purely for the approval of others then that's entirely the wrong reason. You will only get offended, if what you produce isn't up to the standard (or hype) other people have been led to expect and say so. (I know, I've been there).

My advice - never announce a project before it is pretty much 95% complete and (if possible) circulate it within a close group of acquaintances first to get a feel as to how it will be received or to assess if further work/snagging is required.

Well I understand that. But you all don't get it. I'm doing this poll to begin with to see if I should stop working on the route. There is no reason to keep working on
