Is a way possible for me to transfer my pre downloaded content from trainz 2006 to 2009 without having to re download it from the download station??????

If you open content manager then click on “File” then “Import content”. Then click on the Auran, 2006, local folder. This should import all the 2006 content.

HI,

Couple of different techniques:-

1) in 2006, select all the downloads you want to transfer (in CMplus)

Now open them all for edit.
Close 2006 CMP and open CM2 in 2009.
As below, File import - form the Editing folder.
Close 2009 Cm2
Open 2006 CMP, select all open for edit & then "revert"
Close 2006

2) In 2006, open CMP
Select what you want
Create an Archive with this content.
save the archive
close 2006
open 2009 CM2, file settings -. add archive
import from archive.
Close 2009

The folder marked (local) carry all your download plus any new routes you my have started, but not sessions, those are saved in the cache/sessions folder.

Just one more tip It is always wise to make a backup of your local folder.:wave:

yeah i learned the hardway about backing up things i had some Jointedrail payware and i forgot to back it up so i had to re-purchase it all over again
