Help with download station please.

Hi

I have trainz 2004 registerd with the download station, but i am unable to do anything, for example i click on layouts, and nothing happens.

and at the top of the page says i need a first class ticket, but at the bottom of the page, says if i have a serial number registed (i do) i can access this.

Anyone have any ideas why this happens, do you have to have a first class ticket now ?

Also if i were to buy say trainz 2010 new - would i then be able to access the DLS and get content for trainz 2004 still ?

and which would be the best trainz game edition to buy ?

You can buy a 1 year FCT for @ $22 USD ... then 04 & 06 users can download

You would get free-level access to the DLS with a TS2010 purchase. AFAIK, you would only use the web DLS for downloading for TRS2004; I don't know if there is a direct way to download right into the game or that it would work. A lot of content is being "upgraded" to TS2010 standards so you might have to backdate the Trainzbuild on any downloaded content. Original versions will still exist on the DLS but you would have to, generally, download one or two older kuids.

but im not sure weather my PC could run it - could someone please offer some advice to weather i can or not ? cheers here are my pc specs:

Intel core TM 2 CPU 6300
@ 1.86 GHz & 1.87 GHz

2.0 GB of ram

vista 32 bit

Geforce 7500 LE Graphics card

Would that set-up be ok to run trainz 2010 ok ?

ok you go to download station you make an account i know you made that but you put serial number in thats on the back of the manual and type it in then it works then you get the route or layout

you go to the download station in the back of your manual and the serial number then you have download station then you could get your layout or route

Sorry I missed your reply. Trainz wouldn't run well as-is. If you got a good video card, it might offset the weak CPU somewhat.

With any reliability, yes. The free server is having trouble keeping up with demand. Of course, today, all the servers seem to be down!

Well, when the Auran Planet website is back online, you simply click on the header up above here on the forums where it says "Serial Number".

yes thatll be fine mine used to be 1gb ram and it worked on that
