Help with DLC

Please some help me. Recently I bought Steams Blue Comet pack from there sight, i have no way of downloading it. Also i bought a PRR T-1 pack from gamestop. Both made me install an APP. Also i have conformation that i bought them. but i cant find the Steam CNJ pack anywhere. The T-1 Pack asks me for a product code. How and where do i enter it? Thanks.

Check your downloads folder. This is where most software ends up when you download off of a website. The folder is located under C:\Users\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\Downloads.

Both programs most likely have a Setup.exe type of installation. Run this as administrator by right-mouse button clicking on the application and choosing Run as Administrator. During the installation, you will be prompted to enter in the serial number for your T1 package.

I am not familiar with the Steam way of doing things, but the Blue Comet install is similar to the other Auran packages. You may need to use a Steam installer to install your Blue Comet.

Yeah, like John I'm only familiar with the normal boxed version of TS10, not the Steam version. I do know however that in the Trainz launcher under Options, the first thing that is shown by default is a text box to add serial codes to the software - besides TS10's own serial code, this is also where DLC codes can also be entered if they're not already showing up after being installed.

Whether the Steam version of TS10 has this option though I have no idea however.

Something tells me that the Steam version may have trouble working with some DLCs due to build number issues (43361 vs SP3 (43434))

Also, it will only work if both the DLC and the game are from the same place.

EDIT: This does not include regional variations - a Just Trains version will work with DLC purchased direct from N3V for example.

Thanks to all. I only solved my Steam problem. My Gamestop probablem with the T-1 pack is still giving me trouble.
