Having trouble with Trainz

Last time i checked im not paying to play test your game.

Auran says: Hay download this patch, the game you just got will run much better with this !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say: COOL and then waste a hole lot of time trying to D/L the patch because Aurans auto update system is BROKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shortly after D/L Auran says: O wait you cant save your work becase we are lazy who dont know what Play testing is.

When i buy a game i expect it to WORK.
What i dont expect is having to download a patch every 2nd week.

Do your job, make sure the stupid thing works.

How can you miss a bug that crashs the game when you save.

Then I suggest you toss your computer right now and go play with some legos.

Because EVERYTHING on your system is written with you as the guinea pig in mind, not the least being your operating system. Which, unless it's linux, was probably written and sold by a multi-billion-dollar, worldwide trans-national company.

Now if he had only asked for help in the correct way, it would of been a lot easier than blasting off and risking a ban. Alot of us have had some problems over the years and with help from the community we have got things up and running. OK so there have been a few patches released for each version of Trainz. I would say that it is normal. You cant be perfect all the time. But a little patience and asking for help in the correct manner sometimes helps. Why not sit back and think for a while. Maybe if you posted your computer specs and actually stated what the problem is you may get a little help from those who have found a work-around. But i doubt it with the attitude you are displaying at the moment.

I would suggest trying MSTS and Railworks, see if one of those has less bugs than Trainz. :hehe:

You don't want patches?? I think it's great that there are so many patches. It shows they're are currently working on the project after release - most companies might release 1 patch and move on to the next project.

Game software is the extremely complex, it's impossible to release a multi-platform game and expect no issues. With that said, mine runs perfectly with the latest patch which means your problem is likely related to your PC.
