Have been away need to get newest Build number installed.

I have been off the internet for quite a while and now I need to upgrade Trainz to the new Build number.
The one showing on mine is 49922 and I know it must be out of date.
Could someone help me out with the procedure?
Looks like new things are going on here and I have to brush up on running Trainz.

My advice is to wait first, there is talk about the latest fix due to arrive that will fix all the fixes and upgrade all the upgrades .
Many guys have upgraded but just as many are still happy on 49922.

You can let it try to update automatically, but my suggestion would be to download the big SP1 patch manually and install it after that.

Be sure to make a backup before patching!

I've got an even quicker way of doing that using a manual patch.

Simply install one patch: http://download2.ts2009.com/49922_to_61388.exe (warning - the file is 1.82GB in size, and will pause part way though - this is normal.

All the details for that are in the Trainz: A New Era + Kickstart forum, or you can go directly to the Kickstarter page using the green text above. Be aware that to pledge, you will need either a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express card (credit or debit, but debit ones require that you can pay in Australian Dollars to N3V as well as having enough in the account at the time of the pledge (and if the project is successful, around December 17th as well).
