GWR Locomotive Drawings

Hi all,
I have found a site with some free (!) and apparently un-copywrighted GWR locomotive drawings. Although some can be found easily on Google, I thought I'd post a few here for the benefit of curious creators and indeed, real-life modellers.

loco-3800.jpg

Churchward "County" Class 4-4-0 (Not to be confused with the later Hawksworth Counties)

loco-3341.jpg

Churchward "Straight-framed Bulldog" 4-4-0

loco-2221.jpg

Churchward "County Tank" 4-4-2T

loco-4000.jpg

Churchward "Star" Class 4-6-0

loco-111.jpg

Churchward "The Great Bear" 4-6-2 (This one has been on my personal wish list for a while, I have fond memories of the MSTS model! I would try myself, but there is no way I'm tackling this beast with my current level of Blender skill)

loco-102.jpg

Churchward/DeGlehn Compound "Le France" 4-4-2 (One of the GWR's weirder ideas)

loco-2900.jpg

Churchwood "Straight-framed Saint" 4-6-0

These are just a few, way more can be found here: http://www.champwilde.f9.co.uk/gwdrawings/locoindex.html . I am not requesting any particular locomotive (except perhaps The Great Bear,;)), I just thought this site and the drawings were worth pointing out.

Before anyone gets on a copywright hobby horse, I found this whilst searching for D49 pictures on Google. Certainly something a bit different...

Hi

It appears to be the 1929 engine diagram for the WI as built. Engine diagrams weren't working drawings as they only gave the basic dimensions and outline layout of the engine.

Regards

Brian
