Hi all,
I have found a site with some free (!) and apparently un-copywrighted GWR locomotive drawings. Although some can be found easily on Google, I thought I'd post a few here for the benefit of curious creators and indeed, real-life modellers.
Churchward "County" Class 4-4-0 (Not to be confused with the later Hawksworth Counties)
Churchward "Straight-framed Bulldog" 4-4-0
Churchward "County Tank" 4-4-2T
Churchward "Star" Class 4-6-0
Churchward "The Great Bear" 4-6-2 (This one has been on my personal wish list for a while, I have fond memories of the MSTS model! I would try myself, but there is no way I'm tackling this beast with my current level of Blender skill)
Churchward/DeGlehn Compound "Le France" 4-4-2 (One of the GWR's weirder ideas)
Churchwood "Straight-framed Saint" 4-6-0
These are just a few, way more can be found here: http://www.champwilde.f9.co.uk/gwdrawings/locoindex.html . I am not requesting any particular locomotive (except perhaps The Great Bear,
), I just thought this site and the drawings were worth pointing out.
