Got a problem with a loco...

For TS12 I cannot use the ATSF SD45. It shows up in the game but can't be numbered and can't be assigned a driver. Perhaps I mistakenly deleted a file?
for script bugs I get the message:

Train: Thread Exception: ER_Null Reference, none 1464, file train.gs (14)

???

thanks for the help all the other locos provided in game work fine. I don't have any custom content installed.

That is a script error. In CMP, highlight the locomotive and open it for edit in explorer. See if revert to original is available, right click and commit. If not, use copy and paste for the script from a similar SD45.

CMP? Content Manager Program?

Yes, CMP = Content Manager Plus. Use the search function (local) + (name) to bring the locomotive into CMP. Then follow as above. The script file will have a .GS file extension.

ok I will check it out, tough trying to learn this stuff on the fly. I have no idea how this script error might have occurred but they certainly don't work even though they show up on the screen.

Tried to edit the script but I am not authorized. Man, this really stinks! Whatever error it is looks like it has also rendered the SP SD40T-2 and SD45 unusable in the game as well.

You should not attempt to edit the scripts unless you have the tools and expertise to do so. The SD40T-2 and SD45 probably use the same script. If you cannot revert to the original as previously mentioned, try performing an EDR (Extended Database Repair). If that doesn't work you are probably facing a re-install.
