Google satellite really poor

Hi everyone, I was going to start working on my montreal to east route today and found that the satellite imagery east of montreal that google now has is basically useless. I took some screenshots of what google maps was showing in the area in 2010 and it was so clear that I could count how many tracks there were and now it's basically a blurr... Does anyone know if there is a way to access the old images google would had on there back then?

thanks

In Google Earth just click on: View > Historical Imagery. Once you do that, you'll see a new toolbar with a slider, which can used to adjust the timeline of the satellite imagery.

I looked for the historical imagery option on google earth iPad version but can't find it. I guess it's not available... I'll check on the desktop version... Thanks
