Good news for lovers of the UP 9000 class!

Why hello!

It's been a while, hasn't it? How's progress on our stiff-legged 9000? Is she ready for long freight hauls across the great (digital) plains?
Things are slow but are being done as I have time to do them. College and jobs have kept me pretty well away from Trainz for a good bit of this last year. I did get more done on the in-game revamps which includes a finally completed tender and partially complete engine makeover. My release schedule for them is not known but it will be in this order:
  1. In-game revamps of each class including texture, sound, smoke, and script work
  2. T:ANE versions including tbumpenv textures, sound, smoke, script, arn, and mesh modifications
  3. TRS19+ versions including PBR textures, sound, smoke, script, arn, and mesh modifications

I understand, no worries! Focus on yourself first!

After a long time of trying I finally managed to contact The Cowboy and ask him about his 9000 class models.

He's graciously given me permission to update and release them for newer versions of trainz!

I'm underway at the moment with them and will hopefully have them done somewhat soon.

My only problem is with the tfx files in the smoke containers? I have no idea about those so any incite from trainzers would be amazing. I'll give credit for the help in the release.

With much thanks,
The Brougham Gamer
I got the UP 9000 in TS12 and for some reason I don’t hear the engine sound when it’s running.

I'm going to be watching this with great interest having read it in from the start. Maybe it'll give me a reason to get back into trainz.

Oh, thanks! I remember purchasing it from the OG site back when it was active, but it corrupted on my Payware loco CD yesterday.

i downloaded it and its a file and i have no idea how to import it
If this is a .zip, you need to extract the contents to a folder. You then take the cdp file and drag that into Content Manager.

If this a RAR or 7zip, you will need to use Win RAR to open those. The drag and drop is the same.
