Gmax Problem

Can anyone help me with Gmax?

I try to open gmax but once i click the icon, nothing opens. The Gmax Process is running at 9,973k and not moving.

Are you opening it from the gmax icon or via the Trainz Asset Creation Studio icon? (I'm assuming you have that).

For me, the gmax icon itself doesn't work either, but the Trainz Asset Creation Studio icon does.

I have the Trainz Asset Creation Studio, but i tried to open it from both and still nothing..

flewy69er open WIndows Task Manager and see if you have a Gmax in the processes all ready running if you do End Process on any that are there,
I find it best to do a restart afther doing this to free up the memory.

i have tried that about 50 times, still nothing. the only thing i find works is to restart my computer and then opne gmax up straight away

In that case i would back up my gmax folder uninstall it clean out the registry then shut down+start up , then reinstall gmax

BUT thats just me sorry i carnt think of anything else that will help

Not sure if you have solved your problem or not, but when you try to launch GMAX does it appear on the task bar beside the start button at all? If so, then some how GMAX has been moved off the screen. Right click on the icon and try to maximize it. This may restore it to the screen. If move is available from the menu, can click on that and use the cursor keys to attempt to move it back on to the screen.

This has happened to me in the past when I was clicking to rapidly on things.
