Input Table Rule

Hi Guys, I have a problem with the Input Table. When I try to edit and click on the add button, the message dialog opens up behind the table page instead of in front. Therefore you cant add the short message. I am running trainz plus. Does anyone know what is happening and is there a fix? Any help is appreciated thanks.

I am having the same problem with Trainz 2022PE SP4. I am continuing to explore to see what I might be able to do, but this minute I am at a dead end.

Update to add: I checked a route that uses InputTable for some turntables. The route was downloaded to 2022PE and works fine, but I cannot add any new information. I guess I can edit a route in 2019, but some 2022 routes are incompatible with 2019.

The rule is working in trs19 but not trs20 pe and plus, I'm scratching my head also. I intended to use it to automate a turntable.

The rule is unnecessary now as EIT has taken over the path selection and there is a driver command to move the turntable.

Hey Stagecoach, are you able to explain how EIT would work setting up a turn table for AI use with all dependancies if you have time. Thanks.

EIT won't work like the input table in your case. You need <kuid:458053:108204> Move turntable -command.
Drive the engine onto the turntable as you would have done, then add the above driver command, it will allow you to select which number to rotate to.
It does away with the input table and no setting up is required.

Have you tried moving the input table widow to another position before clicking on add '
I'm not having any problems on build 126280

Thank you for the pointer to the Move Turntable command. I will use that going forward.

I have tried this, but was not successful. Then I learned in another thread "There is an issue with SP4 where once you've set a window to maximum you cannot then minimise it again - it always defaults to maximum. Even restarting Trainz doesn't fix it." In the other thread several folks say it's been reported as a bug.

Thanks, that doesn't work for me I need to move turntable to the appropriate roads for roundhouse engines first.

Just use the command before you drive onto the turntable.
Move turntable = to roundhouse track
drive to turntable TM
Move turntable = to leaving track.

Do you have the kuid I mentioned? it does not require a rule.
<kuid:458053:108204> Move turntable -command.
Just add to a driver's command list.

That explains it, I was using <kuid2:609850:100018:1> Move Turntable. I will download the right one and try it. Thanks a lot, I'll let you know.
