I am having problems with my GMax and importing diagrams.
I have three views of a flatcar plan which I have tried to place in each of the three views (I haven't tried it in the perspective window). One view per window.
Only the elevation plan in the Left window works properly. In the plan view (Top) and the end view (Front) I continually get a warning message concerning the amount of memory required when I try to get the plans to display. If I keep resolutely clicking "Apply" and "OK" I usually end up with a programme crash and have to start again.
I am running an Athlon AMD 3000 with 2 Gb RAM. Are you seriously expecting me to believe that a 183 Kb jpg file requires more than 2 Gb to show up?
If anyone has any experience of this or has some helpful advice,
I'm all ears.
I've managed to create quite a bit so far with only the plan in the Left window, but sooner or later I'm going to have to confront splining and I'll definitely need the drawings in the background.
Cheers
Nix
