Just curious,
Am I to infer that the last pair of wheels on the trailing truck is larger than the second last pair? The axles seem to be higher.
Cheerio,
Nicholas.

Holy crap! 2,110,312 polys?Tthe final count is 2,110,312 polygons

That is normal on most larger steam locomotives with dual axle trailing bogeys. CPRails hudsons, northerns, and selkirks consist of a trailing bogey with 36 1/4" and 45" Wheel diameters. Some, but not all, of them have booster engines installed as well.

Hi bchester
That's interesting info on the CPR Hudsons , the NYC J1 J2 J3 's all had 51" and 36" on the trailing truck , I wonder why the difference .
But we're not trying to increase the poly count, since Trainz has a limit on them. But over 2 million polys....wow, that's got to be a new record, no?
If Trainz DID accept that many polys....i'd say roughly about 1fpm(frame rate per month).![]()
Just be warned, there are still problems in the exporter. Been focusing on other projects, but a steamer I've got here (VR A2 class seen a number of pages back) has got some strange effects on the mesh from the export. I have a feeling it may be to do with poly count, but not sure.
