Just stumbled into this thread and the work here is fantastic guys. I was thinking after I saw this one that the idea of "catch points" was tossed around in another thread at one stage. Correct me if I'm wrong here but could this be modified to put into a section of track to be used as exactly that? Just a thought.
Don't know if there's any interest in a small locomotive, mainly built for industrial shunting, but here's one anyway.![]()
It's semi-fictional so to speak. I have a drawing but I have given myself some "artistic liberty" as well, in order to make it a bit more interesting. This is my first try at building something using more than just modified primitives, and I'm still learning. I can highly recommend Paul Hobbs' tutorials by the way. Without those I would not have gotten as far as I have.
Still a lot of pieces missing, but I'm getting there (I hope). :hehe:

PS Can someone please point me in the right direction of a good and easy program to render images with?
I'm using Gmax wich as we all know have no built-in rendering-feature. These images are made with ToE.
