GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Better view of the Class 66. Want to do extra door(s), AC unit, as well as the snow plow pilot as well. When I first started it, they all looked the same. So many different variations of the same model.Very interesting locomotive. Turned down the ambient occlusion to half, just for the render. Looks OK at full in TRS2004.

Will post the DHG 700 by itself later on!

Getting back into the swing of things with a new payware project. Please be aware that it is very unfinished and nothing is final.

I am guessing that it is going to be something like this maybe?

I don't think so. The wheel that the piston rod connects with the drive rod is the rear set of wheels, as evidenced by the large counterbalance weight on the rear drive wheel. The M Class has the drive rod connect with the piston rod is on the second axle, which is also the drive wheel that has the largest counterbalance weight. (Note: I don't know what that part is called. I called it a counterbalance weight because it is used to counterbalance the heavy weight of the drive rods on the other side of the axle.)

His project is in the early stages. Cannot rule anything out. But what it looks like, is that he has yet to finish or add any more details to the other wheels. Which mean it may possibly be a M Class. Who knows. Looks good Ben! Cannot wait to see what the final product is!

None of the drive wheels are completed, I've only fitted a counterbalance to the rear set of drivers so far. It's not an M class, Steve is building one already and his would be far better than mine. It's a bit larger, take note of the fact that the firebox has not been added at all. That will add considerable length to the boiler barrel (what you see modeled) Think bigger than an M!

Something similar to this maybe?

Or at least with the same wheel arrangement possibly?... or maybe it could be a large mountain type... just guessing.
