GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Not sure why I thought it was a Black 5, British engines don't even have 8 drivers! Unless you count Garratts

Well let's see. Off the top of my head I can think of GWR 28xx, 47xx, 72xx, LMS 7F, 8F, Fowler 7F, Bowen-Cooke 7F, LNER P1, P2, O2, O4, S1, WD Austerity and even the passenger orientated Southern Railway had the G16 and Z classes plus the one off Hecate.

Started on the firebox, added another counterweight set. It's not a 4-8-4.

I think I'll take a potshot at this. Based on the design so far (large firebox, drivers too close to the smokebox to normally be a 4-8-4 or a 4-8-2) and you clearly stating it not to be a 4-8-4, I believe I can safely conclude that it's a Berkshire (2-8-4). Looking at the current overall design again, we can limit the locomotive's region to the Americas. I'll say this is a North American engine due to the at least comparative lack of South American content, just to be safe. I'm also going to be a little more specific by ruling out the Chesapeake & Ohio due to the K-4 being built into T:ANE. I have my doubts as to whether it's a midwestern road, but time will tell. I also have doubts that it's Canadian due to the front of the smokebox. But I will ask: is it Lima, benjaminw?

Think I'll take a guess at this too. I agree with Steaming101 that its likely a Berkshire. Is this one a Wheeling & Lake Erie K-1 class, ATSF 4101 class, B&M T-1a, or Illinois Central A-1 2-8-4?

Y'all are getting much warmer! It is indeed a berk, none of the ones guessed are correct, but one of them was extremely close!!

Not necessarily an S-4, but an Erie S is indeed what it is. When I'm done I'll have each class, which were nearly identical anyway.

Although manufactured by the same company, at the least using the same design, the Berkshires used by the Nickel Plate, C&O, and Pere Marquette look very different from the examples owned by the Boston & Albany; that massive feedwater heater.

I mean, you're right. But nobody mentioned any of those at all. The Erie had four berkshire classes built by the three different builders, all were nearly (but not exactly) identical. Not sure what other road's berks have to do with this.

I did not make the person, but I molded him into the right position. Fingers and hands are hard. Still working on that
