Beautiful!

Well, I must ask, are they F7s? If so, I'd rebuild the trucks with some prototypical drawings as a guide.

Hello Logybear!, The model is the EMD FL9. From the research i've done, these used a modified version of the Flexicoil B-B and A-1-A trucks to accommodate third rail equipment. I wish I could get my hands on prototypical drawings of either kind, but I haven't had much luck.

I saw one of these for real during my trip to Germany last year (I was supposed to be enjoying the culture but I spent most of it spotting trains!). I have to admit I thought it was the ugliest thing put to rails since... well, Rocket was steamed, basically. Like an American grain hopper with cabs at either end. Extremely good model though, it's a bit like Rembrandt painting a Austin Montego...that reference will be lost on any non-Brits...

Here are a few work in progress renders, more new century switches with a standard/basic oil lamp on top. Commissioned by cascaderailroad.
There will be 44 in total both right and left hand setups with and without ballast just as previous release from a few years ago of target switches.

~Cheers,

Andrew R.

She's done, she's animated, and getting prepped for export. Textures are giving me a hard time showing up properly in CMP, but it'll be in Trainz before long; I hope.
