GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

@zeldaboy14, very very very nice work you've done there on that siren. If you choose to release it, I will surly download it :) One of my favorite sirens. Try doing a federal signal 2001 or an EOWS 612.

G'day!

So after a few hours of pulling my hair out and repeatedly threatening MAX with bashings and family abductions, I managed to finally get something mapped and textured.

A generic Australian style directional roadsign. These are common place on small country roads usually at T Intersections but can also be found in urban areas.

Cheers!

Jake.

Looks ether like from a Metro-North, MBTA, NJT, and SEPTA.........kinda hard to tell what he'll paint first once after it's ready and baked 'out of the render oven' :hehe: Amazing job though!

Here are a few from the brewery scenery kit im working on.

You can click here to read the blog post on my site and see what other items will be in this set!

This building still needs some work on the windows, I will get to it hopefully soon to fix it up. But this will be the brewery Office building. It could be used for other things on your layout as well.

This is 1 of 2 warehouses that you will be able to use in the kit. This one has been re-worked with custom siding, not photo texture but my own custom siding via photoshop. May add some weathering and have 2 version of both the small and large warehouse, so total of 4 not sure on this yet though.

It'll be so awesome compared to this. Hope to see more coming in the near future.

Ps, is it just me, or there's a triangle missing on the AC on the brewery office building (first pic on top)

2Wayne, what does WILX stand for? I have always been curious about it. Is it Wayne Industrial Locomotives?

Reporting marks don't have to stand for anything, General Electric for example, holds many reporting marks, with GECX being the primary reporting mark. AESX, ANAX, DLRX, HPIX, HTCX, ILDX, ITLX, LRLX, NADX, NAFX, NAHX, NATX, NCHX, PLCX, PLWX, PTEX, PTLX, RACX, SCGX, SSIX, TCAX, TLCX, TDLX, TRNX, and USLX are just 27 used by GE.

Pretty sure at least most of those reporting marks stand for something. GE leasing runs a lot of the private owner fleets now so even if the names don't directly say GE, they did come from somewhere. Usually the only time a reporting mark doesn't take the most direct form of what it represents is because that was already taken by something else.
