Ok, I may have at least some inaccuracies in this, don't hate me![]()
Nice work!
What some people need to realize (Myself being a bit of a rivet counter ) is:
"Close is better than not at all."
(emphasis added)As a creator, I keep a philosophy of "close isn't good enough." Leads to better work, but does slow creation. In that effect, I spend decent sums of money accumulating appropriate research material for best precision I can get.
Yeah, but not for a while , I got another project to finish and this is just to take a coffee break so to speak.------------- Thanks for the comments people.........Also, Nice Southern tobacco car BLueNeon, are you making other southern equipment as well?
Woohoo caboose interior! Can't wait to see it mapped. I generally don't use cabview, but I have a softspot for caboose rides.
Speaking of mapping I finally got around to this:
Now texturing...
you sir have hit right on the spot for the geeps im looking forward to seeing im really looking forward to all this happeningPretty much everything I'm making right now is to accompany an early 1960s era Interstate Railroad route around the time Southern moved into Andover and the big transloading facility opened in the old Southern yard in Appalachia. So that means essentially my priorities are Southern, N&W, L&N, and a stray Clinchfield every now and then. However, I plan on making these modular enough, e.g. separate mesh bells, hoses, etc., so that 3rd party folks can easily rearrange to their liking. That's not to say I'll never get around to modern rebuilds, but it's way towards the bottom of my priorities.
