Dont give up on it. Take a break and read from the blender wiki. Its helped me and trainboi1 out with blender and still is.

Redone the running plate, added the steps and some other minor details. After searching, I can`t seem to find a way to make the windows...

John, take a new block and form it to how the windows are. Use a cylinder even. Rename it as cutter and then select your cab, add a boolean modifier and choose disect then find the cutter and hit apply. After that, delete the object you used to make the window.


Im sure theres other ways but this is how I did it.

If you dont know how to make windows use ProBoolean in 3ds im not entirely sure the same thing applies but thats what i do to make precision cuts. Hope this helps ya a little.
