Yes, the Mac pop-ups are somewhat distinctive (well, depending on which OS you are using.) The newer OS has a window that looks like it belongs on an iPad (ie; touch screen) - does that give you hint of where computers are going? Study your linked pic above again.
(You now have to "approve" any software update or install that is not coming from the Apple App store.)
Also, on the Mac installs that I have, the Trainz panels/popups need some work. When you do something like go thru the update process panels open behind other windows sometimes. Also, I'm in Dark Mode and the text in some windows is barely noticable. I've mentioned these Mac GUI issues more than once on Mac beta release threads but there has been no response by N3V.
