Anyone else trouble downloading Flying Scotsman session?

It is hanging at "processing login and going nowhere. Anyone else?
EDIT: Looks like they are saying to change my password so I guess I will try that.
Nope Still hanging at login.
EDIT: Finally got it after logging everything out, but then it wanted to send a code to my phone. I never got it, and I don't see my phone number under my account, so how does that work? I finally got checked out as a guest.

Is that the free Christmas bonus Flying Scotsman offered in the latest N3V newsletter?
I've owned it for ages having purchased it years ago so it wasn't much of a bonus, - but I downloaded it into TRS19 this morning from the Content Store just because I felt like it and I had no problems.
Why on earth would they want to send a code to your phone? I've never seen N3V do that before.

Hi Ann. Yes I thought it was a bit weird too, and yes, I appear to have it already, as I have the session, so maybe wasted effort. Oh well, it turns out OK in the end. It sure was a bit of a tough chew though. I am curious if anyone else ran into it, as I had to change my password to even get it to work.

I can't even get that far. I can only log in to MyTrainz. The Trainz online store seems to be down mainly, so I couldn't log in. The MyTrainz site does refresh passwords and I can log in to that (especially if you request to reset the password from the online store), but for the life of me there is no way for me to claim the Scotsman per the advent calendar, and this is a time-sensitive event!!! This is between that and the Badgers Pass deal expiring by Monday. If that's not gonna be fixed by tomorrow, I'm screwed!

My attempt to download froze ther entire computer. I restarted and immediately ran a database repair. And then repeated the download and evrything now running correctly. No idea what caused the freeze.

Make sure you have logged out of all aspects of Trainz and Trainz sites after changing your password so that you are coming back in with the new password. I left some things downloading last night only to find they failed because I had not changed the password in my Trainz settings!

Doesn't make a difference. The login page refreshes itself as it mentions on the announcement box and says what to do if that happens. The problem is, I have also already done that! It's no longer a viable solution. Log in/log out. Stay logged in. Not a lick of a difference. It's the same behavior, and I couldn't tell you what's going on with their backend. All I do know is that MyTrainz is the only place that works with the new password when i reset it and when I change it back. It does have proper checks if I put in the wrong (old) password, so I know that part is working. It's something to do with the online store, and probably the other connected systems. The forums, clearly, is unaffected.

Just now I clicked on the Christmas Freebee link and it took me here to the freebee page. I logged in with my login details that I've used ever since TRS2004 days and was able to successfully check out with the freebee Badger Pass route even though I didn't really want it. I live in New Zealand and I'm running Debian Linux, - whether that makes a difference or not I wouldn't know.

I tried the 1920s Flying Scotsman Freebee link again just now and it took me to checkout without any problems so I could have claimed it for a second time if I wanted to.

Well, if that would even make a difference, then maybe I'll have to fire up one of my virtual machines to do it. Because of what you mentioned, I had just then had a thought to try another browser (as that's been an issue with other sites in the past), but even this time, no joy.

Well, that was no fun. I actually had removed the VM I was gonna use for it a long time ago apparently, but I still had the ISO anyway and could utilize the demo version of it in a pinch for this to skip the time to do the full install. I still have the same issue with the same browser. Maybe strangely it is a regional issue, like the 500 mile email. Wouldn't be my first time seeing it. If I'm gonna have to use the VPN method, I'll be shocked.

I got the The Flying Scotsman 1920s for free yesterday, and I wouldn't have seen Badgers Pass without your help. Thank you. :)

Maybe I am not doing it right. I add it to cart and then go to checkout. Then it wants to authorize purchase, and if I choose that, it wants a code to my phone that never gets to my phone. So then I say to checkout as guest and everything goes fine. As far as I know there is no place to put my phone number, and there is no choice to use email, so I am not sure about their "authorization" process.

I logged in using the 'My Account' drop down menu Forester. I did this first before doing anything else in the Online Store.

I downloaded it using the Trainz Content Store from the Launcher. Click the Purchased link and enter Scotsman in the search box.

Thanks folks, I'll try something different on the next one. I did make sure I was logged in before trying to get the route though.

Downloaded both the loco set and the route.

Badger's Pass already has bugs. (May be why it's free LOL)
Running the logging session, and the log pickup point only loads 1 traincar. Game message states the logs may take a while to load, (up to 3 seconds per car),
but no other cars EVER load. Completely broken session.

Haven't tried any of the other 4 sessions yet.EDIT: Ran the liquids sessions. Very difficult to tell where the unload "sweet spot" is at the offload stations.
Supposed to off load the 1st 3 tankers at the 1st stop, then proceed to the next and offload the last two cars.

When you stop at the 1st offload point, you end up with the 2nd and 3rd cars unloaded, but then can't unload the 1st car. Can't find that spot again.

Maybe others can report on the rest of the sessions? I'm done with this route. Too dam annoying to enjoy. :P

This page is specifically what's not working.

Flying Scotsman, what's the other locomotive?

The logs are loaded into one car. Place the rear part of the car opposite the loader. If the logs have run out on the loading area, then you need to wait 30 seconds for the logs to reappear.

Two cars can be loaded with liquid, stopping in front of the specified building.

To unload, you need to combine these 2 markers:

Now we're talking about a proper free Christmas gift, - Victorian Railways Vauclain Compounds. Proper steam locomotives, - you can keep your dismals. We had these Baldwin built locomotives here in New Zealand as well.

No problems at all with logging in or at the checkout.
