have tried to place the gantry and then the gantry signals but they never go onto the gantry.they place further up the track but never on the gantry.can someone tell me what i am doing wrong.
I always line up the signals (holding down shift key) from above and then place gantry up to signals.
Can be tricky because signals tend to "jump" but with perseverance can be achieved.

I've found that it's easier when you are directly above the gantry looking down. It can be tricky, but with a little practice, you should get the hang of it pretty quick.
All you have to do is use the move object icon that appears when you install the signal. You can slide the signal right where you want it. This works just like moving a switch lever along the track.
The most accurate way to move the signals is to move the next Track Spline Point on the track to which they apply.You"ll find that with care you move them a few scale inches.
