Is it possible to log or save information when something goes sideways in a session?

I’m 90% done with a route and then I never get signal. In real life they would send someone out to the box to figure it out.

I would like a file or log that something failed. So I can pick that up and handle it. If this is possible I can load Trainz on my work computer and use it between meetings

I'm not sure if this is helpful for your needs. You can enable script debugging and notifications in the Trainz settings.
Click on the Dev tab and then click on enable script debugging.

When something that's scripted goes pair shaped, a red bug will appear in the lower right corner of the screen. Double-clicking on the bug will show what caused the script failure and clicking on one of the listed bugs may give you further information.
