I have another one for 'ya. A week ago my PC crashed and it rebuilt itself (lolol) and somehow the FTP code got lost and I cannot download
any assets. Once I press on the "Download FTP Content" button, the next screen just sits there.
How do I get the FTP connection back ?:o
OR, if there is another issue I missed, please tell me.

Thank-you.

Hi Shane
Since I had upgraded to a new type of computer, I began using W10 and it came with Microsoft Edge. So far, it's working just fine (I guess because it's compatible)
(That's the long answer). If it's downloading in the background, where would the folder be ?

Try <crtl>j and that should give you the downloads. I find Firefox better for downloads as it has a built in download manger translation its more robust and will continue to download when other browsers give up.

I have a new one for you - MS Edge has a "Settings" menu on the far right and in there is a request as to "Where do you want your downloads to go ?"
I gave it a special folder just for Trainz. I'm only having trouble with the FTP protocol. There is no downloading going on.

Thank-you John. I'm learning all about the <ctrl> commands lately. You've added one to my list.
And, BTW, once I click on the "Download FTP", the menu comes up like it wants to bring me something, but only sits there.
I let it run for about a minute and nothing happened. In the last bunch of days, I've gone to Trainz Game to find some
useful kuids, but not all. I'm running mostly Russian and Polish assets.

I have the same problem as you. "edge windows 10 Pro" the default save folder is downloads. to change the download folder top right corner of edge click the 3 ... then settings then advance settings
about half way down you will see change downloads. I switched to firefox for browser and have no problems

Well now, Graveyard, all it took was to change to another browser. MS Edge is quick, simple to use but, does not understand N3V downloads.
John ! Did you hear that ?? I had used Firefox not too many weeks back and was okay. I have used OPERA, Firefox, MS Edge and Yahoo.
Everybody has their favorites and if I could, I would use Opera from now on.
Thanks for all the help folks. I am back on the road again.
