Question: What would I need to get better frame rate? I tried moving my sliders but it don't seem to do anything as far as frame rate goes.

In general terms a better graphics card would do wonders. There are some threads around that compare different configurations do a search for benchmarking and benchmark in the advanced forum search search titles only to see what others are getting.

Yeah. I'm having issues too, but I am using a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600, which is a pretty good card. (i can play most games on max graphics) But on the game the framerate is slow... ish. It runs but not smoothly. It's not a slideshow but it is just noticable to be annoying. Also it isnt all the time. It will run smooth, then slow, smooth, then slow. Any solutions?

if you want a card with great frames for trainz,i sugest you get 8800GT,but looking it doesnt comply with PCI-E,i sugest also you upgrade to a 650i ultra,it does good perfermence, suppports intel CPU's.core 2 duo, quad and extreme,if you want one for AMD proccesers,go to the nvidia website and see which motherboard works with AMD

Frame Rate

Thanks to all! I found out what the problem was/is after doing some deleting I found that a hoist 3 was giving me bad frame rate. I have found out that in surveyor if you open train oject that if something is bad that the idem will not turn properly. Moving the curse back away from it the picture will turn smoother. After removing the hoist 3 no more bad frame rate. This will help with finding missing or faulty dep,. Btw I did all that y'all suggested.
Thanks Again
