Fourteen's Rock Island Tenders aren't showing up on the DLS

To whom it may concern,

I recently downloaded many Rock Island steamers from the DLS that were made by Fourteen. I looked around for the tenders, but I couldn't find them oddly enough. I went to the DLS website, and they were there, but I couldn't download them. Anyone know what's up? The 4-8-4 is beautiful but without a tender it isn't realistic!

Thank you!

Had a look......

They are on the faulty asset list, as they had missing dependencies when originally uploaded, however just checked by downloading one and the missing dependency is now on the DLS.
The tenders were uploaded in 2017 way before the bogey which was November 2020 one of Ben Neals. Have to put my Content Repair Group hat on and investigate or quicker Fourteen could maybe just upload them again with a version increase.

The FTP download on the DLS seems to have ceased functioning even with the FTP client I use to get round the browsers blocking FTP now, FTP is deemed as a security risk so nearly all browsers are blocking it or as my FTP client can't get it either, it's just broken!

Meanwhile a workround to download them. ;)

Copy the kuids from the Web site into Manage Content, that's Custom search > kuid and type in or paste, Ctrl V works, the kuid from the website and it will magically appear as available for download. That's how I downloaded one.

It's the tenders that need uploading again as the bogie is on the DLS so isn't a problem now, it was up until last November!

Actually the bad news is you have 189 assets on the faulty list, mostly due to missing dependencies and from a quick look Ben Neals which I think are nearly all on the DLS now, anything on that list will never appear in Manage Content, only on the DLS web page.

I can let you have a list if you like? I've sent a link by pm anyway. there seem to be a couple of items that are faulty, allegedly the DLS does get it wrong at times.

It's not the bogies thats the problem its that The DLS marked your original uploads as faulty as the dependencies were not then on the DLS, only way to correct the problem is to upload again at a higher version as a kuid2:
