For those experiencing issues with downloading using TDH/CM after the server transfer

Not Good At All!

I'm still having the same problems, the same message, I've now lost 5 days on my FCT, not a happy camper. :(

I'll give it a few more days and be patient!

i'm in the same boat,has anyone noticed the download station tab at the top of page
it's not hard pick what you want save the cdp somewhere and import through cmp,look in result settings to get thumbnails up,i'm using 06

How can you save something, as a CDP, when it will not download ?
You have to download the asset, before you can save it as a CDP.
The asset is not downloadable, and can thus not be saved as a CDP.

Downloading by FTP is the only way.

Hi Cascaderailroad

The current issues with the DLS, as far as has been reported, are with Content Manager not being able to download (and then, only TRS2006-TC3, plus some scattered cases of TS2009/TS2010). The FTP server is still online, just Content Manager isn't connecting.

As such, you will still be able to manually download the files from the FTP links on the DLS website, as described at the start of this thread.

As the files on the FTP site are cdp files, Patchy's post is correct.

Zec,

There are still problems with TRS2004 downloads. I can use FTP, but Download Helper is failing every time.

don't know if you can't download anything but this might help help other users

you pick what you want go to download page hit the ftp link and save the file somewhere on your computer under cdp's will proberly do it, change name of the file eg, qr cairns
then open cmp,file, import cdp and bingo
it's a bit primative but's the only way we can do it until everthings fixed

hey zec heres my 2 cents on fixing& the future of dls

zec hope you guys are trying to fix the downloading part. mine is still out of service in no network speed with those blue triangles in the network speed box in cmp. even though it is easter break auran should have at least someone on the scene try to fix this problem.

you guys at auran should support trs04 and trs06 because alot of memebrs like them and will not switch to trs10 atlease not yet. but at least keep the dls active for trs04 and trs06 for us in the future. auran still supports utc and trainz sp3 so why not trs04 and trs06. just because something is old does not mean it is obsolete. that means hat yuo guys at auran need to keep the dls and cmp active for those memebrs who do not wish to switch. just because a new version is out does not mean thats the best one neither its its all in the members eyes.

ok heres a thought, to all auran empoyees (staff) lets say that you were the members of auran and we as the memebrs are the saff of auran in the same boat you guys whould be doing the same as we doing now try to save trs04 and trs06 and to get the dls and cmp fixed. you know that would be the biggest mistake you guys will make in years. so think about it, do you want to lose memebrs just because you made the wrong decision on trs04 and trs06 and not to fix the dls and cmp to work with both trainz versions after september. the choice is yours

FCT Download

Hi Zac,
You did say we were to keep you posted on this issue. I go a FCT the night before last, and posted that it was saying in cm 2010 that the server was full when trying to down load. I read your post on waiting 24 hours so the server could pick up the FCT, and it should work ok then. I have waited 24 +hours and find that cm in all my trainz programmes, are the same when downloading (2006, TC3, 2009, 2010) server full try later.
I know there is a delay for 4 days because of Easter so I am not complaining, just letting you know that the problem is still with me, hope it will be fixed soon as I am losting days on the FCT.

FCT Not Working

Having same problem as others. CM says Ready but when an item is selected and I click Start, nothing happens. Then, at the bottom of the screen a message appears saying 'The server seems to be full, try again later'. 5 days as of now and not able to download. Purchased First Class Ticket to no avail. Help . . . Please!

Other than that, Thanks for all the fun.
 
Download with FCT

I my FCT is working ok now, I do not know if you did something after my last post, but just in case you did I like to say thanks.
I read a lot on the forum, but I do not post much. I think Auran take a lot of flack, I would like to just say thanks for all the enjoyment I have had over the past years, and still get from all the trainz version I have from 2004 to 2010.

I did some more checking.
My TRS2006 content manager just sits there loading and never recognizes my login.
My TS2009 CM2 loads fine, but I still can't download anything. It does recognize my FCT and shows how many days that I have left.
My TS2010 CM3.2 works just fine and I can download fine.

Just adding myself to the list of TRS2006 users that cannot download. CMP appears to connect fine on startup and finds my FCT, but downloads just hang.

You can download via FTP. Just follow Zec's instructions. See POST #119.

I agree. However, it is better than no downloads. I expect that they will have the CMP download resolved next week. It is not unusual to experience some issues when placing new servers on line.

So what about the people like myself that have brought a LIFE TIME FCT.
Extending that is not possible nore is giving us another short FCT.

I do hope this problem is fixed soon.....
