Also usefull in tutorials, is downloading and setting up Yahoo Mail and especially "Yahoo Instant Messaging" as using a webcam and microphone headset aimed at our PC screen monitors (like a PC phone, call which is free), one can easily describe what to open, and exactly how to do it.

Well I figured how to take a screeny but it won't take one in game. I can only take them in Railyard and not all the image shows up. I can see the body and all the work I did but where the trucks are and inside the cab is checker board. ???

Thats because the photo is a TGA, and needs Batch Conversion into a Jpg ... I can help tutor you how to do it, via Forum PM, or on Yahoo IM

Is your machine a PC or Mac ?

Its a pc, laptop. I never installed IM cuz I never used it.

Contact me via Forum PM ... this is a lenghly process, and easy to do.

Getting 09,10,12 sidesteps the Irfanview TGA to Jpg Batch Conversion process entirely ... as 09,10,12 saves to a Jpg automaticly.

As does running Trainz Windowed, using the MS Snipping tool.

If you run Trainz in a window and not full screen, you can simply press PrintScn for the whole of the desktop, or [CTRL]+PrintScn for the active window. Then go into MS Paint or use your favourite paint program and paste the in the image. Then save it to any format that it supports.

I find this a much easier way to get screen dumps with the minimal of hassle.

I notice that you upgraded from 04, to 10 version ... how do you like it ?

Do you ever revert back to 04, when 10 doesn't show assets ?

I have been leaning toward buying 10 for quite awhile now.

A marked improvement over 04 Some of the demo routes are huge and pretty awesome. CM works really well and making content is a breeze now.

I have only used UTC to check my old assets and see where I was up to. But no longer to play. TS2010 all the while now!
